Frequently Asked Questions

Show all
Do contributors need to create an account?

Yes, but it's quick and free. Anyone you share the Upload Link with can sign up for a free contributor account — no subscription, no app to download. After signing up, they confirm their email, then open the link again to start adding photos.

How long does a PhotoBook last?

Your 60-day free trial gives you full access to create and share PhotoBooks. If your trial ends without subscribing, your books and share links go inactive. You'll have a 30-day grace period to subscribe — everything comes back if you do. After 30 days, your books and photos are permanently deleted.

Can I download the photos?

Yes. PhotoBook owners and contributors can download all approved photos together as a ZIP containing the full-size files stored by PhotoBooks.

How many photos can go in a PhotoBook?

Up to 50 photos per PhotoBook — that's the total across everyone who uploads, not a limit per person. Plenty for a weekend trip, a birthday party, or a family reunion.

What if someone uploads something inappropriate?

Every photo is automatically scanned by our AI moderation system before it's added to your book. Anything that doesn't pass is held for review and never appears in your PhotoBook. If it's rejected by our moderation team, it's removed permanently.

Can I create a PhotoBook for something that already happened?

Absolutely. There's no requirement to set one up in advance. Create a PhotoBook after the fact, share the Upload Link with everyone who was there, and let the photos roll in.

Can people view a PhotoBook without uploading?

Yes — anyone with the View Link can browse the photos without an account, unless the owner has made the book private (which requires signing in to view). They only need to sign up if they want to add their own photos.
